I haven’t been to National conference since COVID. Wow, I did not realize how much I missed my sisters from across the nation. Smiles, hugs, stories and just life. For me especially meeting up with 5 of my Top Ten Sisters.

Our chapter makes sure that during each session that we do not sit together, but go and seek a table with those we do not know and create new relationships.

For me, this was an awesome experience. During one session, I sat with the ladies from the Cy-Fear Express Network from Houston, TX. At first, the ladies were just  chatting between each other. I sat and listened (just like I did at my first Coral Springs meeting). But, once I found a opportunity to get involved in the conversations, my oh my, it never stopped. These ladies were so welcoming, I even gained the title of Auntie Dot. We laughed, we did projects together, played games, just built a great awareness of each other. By the end of that session, I decided that Cy-Fear was going to be my secondary chapter, and so it became. I became instantly welcomed and included, to the extent that I was asked to be in their group picture. I can’t wait for my trip to Houston to hang with this incredible ladies Bonus, I did not know  that one of my Top Ten Sisters, Mechelle Becker is also in this chapter.

You never know what will happen at National and what friendships will develop.

We welcomed our new Board of Directors. What an awesome group of leaders we have bringing the organization into 2025.

I’m so looking forward to NWLC in 2025.
